All our pork products are from pigs raised at Steppe Eagle Farm. There is a huge difference in the quality of pork depending on how the animals are raised and what they eat. The greater the diversity of foods they are offered and the more space they are allowed to roam and mud to wallow in, the better they taste. These pigs are raised free-range on pasture and forest during the summer and with access to a warm barn during the winter. They find much of their own food when they are outdoors and we offer them grains and a diversity of cull fruits and vegetables in season.
